Martha Ochako is a highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to empowering individuals to reclaim abundant mental health. With expertise in patient assessment, diagnosing mental health disorders, and prescribing evidence-based treatments, Martha seamlessly integrates conventional therapies with holistic approaches to address the root causes of mental health challenges.

Her unique approach combines health education with natural, science-backed tools—emphasizing brain-nourishing nutrition, physical activity, lifestyle modification, hydration, light therapy, and a foundation of trust in God—to promote lasting well-being. Martha's philosophy is rooted in her commitment to uncovering the root of symptoms rather than merely masking them with medications.

Martha's academic journey reflects her deep dedication to healthcare and personal growth. She earned her Registered Nursing credentials at a Master’s entry-level program from Metropolitan State University, Minnesota. With over 11 years of extensive nursing experience in diverse mental health settings, she has honed her expertise in delivering compassionate, client-centered care.

Further advancing her clinical acumen, Martha completed her Post-Master’s PMHNP Certification at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, Utah, in 2021. Her passion for education and holistic care is grounded in her earlier academic achievements, including a Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta University, Kenya, and a Doctorate in Health Science (D.H.Sc.) from Nova Southeastern University, Florida.

Martha’s mission is clear: to guide individuals struggling with mental health disorders toward a life brimming with vitality, joy, restful sleep, improved focus, and healthier relationships. She firmly believes that through faith, evidence-based care, and holistic practices, it is possible to achieve the abundant life God has promised.
